An on-song Leinster will travel to the Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium to face Leicester Tigers in Saturday's Champions Cup clash. Leicester Tigers are third in Group 4 having amassed nine points while Leinster are resting easy at the summit. The hosts are seeking victory to ensure their Round of 16 progression while the visitors have already punched their ticket. Leicester posted a strong start to their Champions Cup campaign winning against Stormers and Stade Francais but lost recently to Stade Rochelais. The English side has recovered from a tough Premiership Rugby start as they now sit seventh. Their impressive run has seen them win five of their last six domestic matches. Leicester will miss the services of lock George Martin, outside-back Anthony Watson and scrum-half Jack van Poortvliet for the Leinster clash.

The victories have come against Stade Rochelais, Sale Sharks, and Stade Francais with the latter two coming with bonus points. Although they have secured qualification, Leinster will be looking to secure a round of 16 home tie, with victory here. In the United Rugby Championship, Leinster are also at the top of the standings having suffered just two defeats thus far. The Irish side has a lengthy injury list ahead of the clash with seven players set to miss. The seven include Jimmy O’Brien, Martin Moloney, Alex Soroka, Charlie Ngatai, Cormac Foley, Ross Byrne and Jamie Osborne.
