The 2026 Ostrava Open final will be contested by the unseeded duo of Tamara Korpatsch and Katie Boulter. This will be their first career meeting. Read on for our prediction of the match.

Boulter has made it to her fifth tour final and has ended a more than year-long wait for such an achievement. A three-time tour champion, the Brit will be confident of claiming this week’s title.

She blazed past her opponents in Ostrava. Arriving to make her tournament debut with only one win in 2026, Boulter has won four matches without losing a set. She defeated Katie Volynets after only dropping four games in the semi-finals.

Boulter’s run to the final has catapulted her to the brink of returning to the WTA’s top 100. She is up 19 places in the live ranking to 101st place.

Tamara Korpatsch is contesting only her second tour final. The last time she was in a championship match, the German claimed victory. That was three seasons ago on an indoor surface at Cluj-Napoca.

Korpatsch has also made it through this week without losing a set. She defeated Diane Parry by the loss of eight games in the last round.

Now with seven wins from 10 outings, Korpatsch has also made a significant leap in the live ranking and is close to returning to the top 100 in the WTA. She has shot up 22 places and is now ranked 102nd.
