Jiri Lehecka is seeded ninth in this year's outdoor hard court Cincinnati Open. He has a potentially tricky second round match against unseeded Matteo Berrettini. Lehecka reached the last 16tn in Montreal in his last tournament and is our prediction to be the winner.
Whoever wins will take on either 21st seed Arthur Fils or unseeded Yannick Hanfmann in the last 16.
Lehecka is currently the world number 14 and that's 28 places above Berrettini. He has had a good year on this surface with one final reached in Miami and two quarter-finals in Doha and Dubai. Overall, he has won 12 of his 20 outdoor hard court matches this year.
A win here will see him equal his best run in Cincinnati of a third round two years ago.
Matteo Berrettini has reached round three here twice, but like Lehecka has never progressed any further. He had only won two out of eight previous matches in Cincinnati before beating Titouan Droguet in round one. It took him two hours after losing the first set 6-3.
