Jessica Pegula, the fifth seed at Indian Wells, faces off with third seed Elena Rybakina in the last of four quarter-finals. These two will be meeting for the eighth match in their careers. Read on for our prediction of their second meeting this season.

Their latest clash was at the Australian Open early this year, with Rybakina registering a third straight win against Pegula. This run broke a series of Pegula’s three wins in the earlier four meetings.

Pegula came here having won the title in Dubai and will be looking to level this tie. She is coming off a run of eight straight wins since that loss to Rybakina. Sitting fifth in the live rankings, Pegula beat Belinda Bencic 2-0 last time out.
