It's only week three of the 2020 Six Nations Championship but this game is important for both sides. It is likely to determine who will win the wooden spoon as both Italy and Scotland have lost their first two matches. Italy regularly win the wooden spoon for finishing bottom and haven't won a Six Nations match since 2015. That was a famous 22-19 win away in Scotland with an 80th minute conversion sealing the victory. Since then, Italy have played 22 games in this competition and lost every single one of them. No wonder, many believe they shouldn't be taking part. Already this year they have lost to Wales and France and with Ireland and England after this match, another miserable end result is likely.

Scotland are also looking for their first win of the campaign. They lost away in Ireland and then were defeated at home by England in the Calcutta Cup match. They have won 22 out of 30 games against Italy but when playing away the current score is 6-6. Scotland have beaten Italy in their last seven meetings though and five were by a points margin of at least ten points. They last lost in Italy in 2012 and will be looking for a confidence boosting win this weekend. Scotland have made three changes for this match and there's still no sign of a recall for Finn Russell. They have failed to score a try in their first two matches but that stat should be put right this weekend considering Italy have conceded 10 so far. Go for a Scottish win in this match.
