With the series level at 1-1, India and West Indies move to the Holkar Stadium in Indore for the third T20I on Sunday. The odds are stacked in favour of the ‘Men in Blue’, but it is the ‘Windies’ who may be the confident team with our match prediction backing Shai Hope to score at least 26 runs.
India won the first T20I in Lucknow by eight wickets, while the Windies responded with a six-wicket victory in Ranchi. The teams have two more matches to play in the series after this fixture.
Batting first in Ranchi, India, stormed to 249 for 5, which followed a smashing performance in the first match where they galloped to 172 within 15 overs. The batting run rate of nearly 12 is a massive boost, but the bowlers have struggled, with only two conceding at fewer than 10 runs per over. With the bat, captain Shreyas Iyer (142 runs, SR 232.78) remains top of their charts.
The Windies have been reliant on Shai Hope (154 runs, SR 187.80) and Sherfane Rutherford (140 runs, SR 197.18) for their batting performances. The duo added 120 runs for the third wicket in Ranchi to lead their recovery and a deserving win. Bowlers remain under the pump, with only Roston Chase (four wickets, ER 7.95) proving to be reliable.

Our India vs West Indies Prediction
The West Indies showcased their credentials with a stunning win in the second T20I. There’s still so much uncertainty in the format and too many runs on Indian pitches that it’s tough to pick a winner. India may feel they still have the bowling unit to make a difference in these conditions, but a result isn’t certain.
Hope keeps picking up his game against India and has scored at least 32 runs in seven of his last eight innings against India, all formats included. That could continue, and our India vs West Indies prediction is Shai Hope over 25.5 runs.
