Iga Swiatek vs Aryna Sabalenka Prediction & Betting Tips - US Open, New York, USA

None of the four players left in the US Open women's singles have reached the final in New York. That includes world number one Iga Swiatek who has never got past the semi-finals in any Grand Slam apart from Roland Garros. Her current form is nowhere near as good as earlier in the year when winning six successive titles. Her previous four tournaments have seen Swiatek reach just one quarter final. Form has improved a bit in New York but the number of unforced errors have been in the 30s in her last two matches. This year has seen her play Sabalenka three times and all have been won in straight sets with only 12 games lost.

It's not been the best of years for Aryna Sabalenka and no titles have been won. That's compared to five being won in the past two years. The first part of the year saw some defeats by players who were way down the ranking list. As the year has progressed, her form has improved though. The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix final was reached (but she lost heavily to Swiatek) and the last four in Rome and Cincinnati. There have been two three-setters for Sabalenka so far in this US Open, on both occasions having to come from a set down. Sabalenka also makes a lot of unforced errors. This could be a tight match but if Swiatek can reduce the mistakes she's making, then it'll be her who makes it to the US Open final.
