Harlequins FC vs Sale Sharks Prediction & Betting Tips - English Premiership Rugby

Fifth placed Harlequins host English Premiership league leaders Sale Sharks on Friday evening. They begin the game six points behind their opponents after losing their last two league fixtures. November 18 saw them suffer a 38-10 home loss to Saracens who are currently second in the English Premiership after the first seven games of the new season. Their most recent fixture saw them narrowly lose 36-33 at Northampton Saints who are now a point below them in the table. Two unforced errors decided the match in the favor of the Saints. Harlequins have played three home league games this season. They'd beaten Exeter Chiefs and bottom-of-the-table Newcastle Falcons before the heavy loss to Saracens. 

Sale Sharks have a three-point lead over second placed Saracens. They have won six of their seven league matches this season, the other being a 43-0 loss at Exeter Chiefs. The Sharks have bounced back well since then with four consecutive wins in the English Premiership. They have had wins over Gloucester, Bristol and Newcastle Falcons. In their most recent match, Sale beat fourth placed Bath 11-9 at home thanks to a late penalty by England international George Ford. They have won two of their three away fixtures with victories over Leicester Tigers and Bristol. Sale have only conceded 129 points in their seven games and remember 43 of those were in that early-season defeat at Exeter. This looks like being a tight match but we believe Sale can get a narrow victory to stay top of the English Premiership.
