Week 12 in Premiership Rugby will kick off with Harlequins taking on the Leicester Tigers on Friday evening. The hosts are currently in second place in the league standings, while the visitors are seventh. While most of the attention for the remainder of this competition will turn to the Six Nations getting underway next week, both these sides will still be looking for a solid Premiership campaign. Harlequins return to domestic competition after securing their place in the knockout stages of the European Champions Cup last week. They beat Ulster 47-19 to clinch second place in Pool 2 of that competition with 15 points in four games. With that, Quins are now on a four-match winning streak in all competitions and beat Gloucester, Newcastle, and Cardiff during that run. The hosts won the last encounter between these sides 20-17 last season and are the favourites in this one. Alex Dombrandt, Joe Marler and Oscar Beard will miss this match, having been called up to the England squad. 

Meanwhile, Leicester were also involved in Champions Cup action last week but suffered a 27-10 defeat to Leinster on their home patch. That result saw them finish fourth in Pool 4 with nine points and behind Lenister, Stormers and La Rochelle. Their last match in this competition, though, ended in a 19-10 victory over Saracens, which was their fourth victory in their last five Premiership matches. They have made a solid turnaround after losing four of their first five games in this competition. Leicester have lost their last two away games and could find it difficult here with a host of players departing for the Six Nations.
