Hampshire vs Sussex Prediction & Betting Tips - World | T20 Vitality Blast

Fourth-placed Hampshire will take on Sussex, who are eighth, in the T20 Vitality Blast on Saturday. The defending champions are on four points after four matches, six behind the South Group leaders, Somerset, though they have played a game less. Hampshire beat Essex comfortably yesterday by 116 runs. Skipper James Vince was incredible at the top of the order for his side, smashing 103 in just 48 balls, as the hosts posted a solid target of 214/8 in their 20 overs. He is now the second-highest run scorer in the tournament with 280 in four innings. The bowlers were not to be outdone, though, with Liam Dawson leading the way with 4/21 in his four overs. Nathan Ellis and Scott Currie picked up three wickets each. Hampshire have beaten this opponent in their last three encounters and will be full of confidence following yesterday's excellent performance. 

Sussex, meanwhile, haven’t made a great start to the tournament and finds themselves second-from-bottom after their first three matches. However, they have played at least one game less than most of the sides above them. The visitors have picked up just one win, which came over Surrey last week. Sussex were beaten by Essex in their last match by 25 runs as they were bowled out for 138 in 18.4 overs on Thursday evening. Ravi Bopara currently holds the highest individual score for Sussex with 88, which came in the first match against Somerset, but he’s failed to impress since then. It’s a similar situation across the top order, with Tom Alsop and Michael Burgess each notching half-centuries in the next two matches, but the entire side seems to be lacking consistency. Going up against an improving opponent, the visitors will find it hard to win this one.
