Grigor Dimitrov vs Alex De Minaur Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Rotterdam

Grigor Dimitrov is only one match away from his first singles final of the year. The sixth seed takes on fifth seeded Alex de Minaur in the last four of the ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam. Dimitrov is having an excellent year and a win over de Minaur can take him up to tenth in the live rankings. He's doing even better in the Live ATP Race and is sixth on that list. If reaching the final, he'll move up to fifth. Dimitrov won the Brisbane International in January and lost in the final in Marseille last weekend. He's won 13 of his 15 matches played this year but had a tough match in the quarter finals of this indoor hard court ATP 500 tournament. He had to go to three sets to get past unseeded Alexander Shevchenko, losing the middle one. He's 2-2 in previous meetings with de Minaur and 1-1 on indoor hard courts. The pair met in last year's Rotterdam quarter final with DImitrov winning in three sets.

Alex de Minaur is up to eighth in the Live ATP Race and will go ahead of Dimitrov on that list if beating him on Saturday. In the live rankings, the Australian is a career high ninth but can't rise any higher even if winning the title on Sunday. Before this week he hadn't reached a singles quarter final but did get to the last four with Australia in the United Cup. Only one set has been dropped by de Minaur on his way to this semi-final. That was on Friday in his quarter final match against second seeded Andrey Rublev, dropping the second one. It's taken him just under three hours to reach this stage, while Dimitrov has played five hours and one minute. A tight match looks likely here and we go for it to be a three-setter.
