Greet Minnen, the top seed in Cleveland qualifying, will play fifth seed Ana Bogdan seeking a ticket for the tournament’s main draw. This will be their first meeting at tour level. Here’s a look at the stats and a prediction for the match.

Minnen ended a run of successive defeats with a straight sets win over Hina Inoue in the first round of qualifying. Now she is one win away from earning a main draw spot.

Having only lost three times in qualifying this season, she will be confident of a win here. Minnen has struggled with her form this season and currently has compiled a 21-24 record alternating between the tour and challenger circuits.
