Gloucester host Bristol bidding to make it three successive wins in the English Premiership. They are ninth in the table with their opponents in sixth and nine points ahead of them. It's been a strange season for Gloucester with a good start with a couple of wins and then losing nine league games in a row. They've turned that situation around with wins at home to Sale Sharks and a 27-25 victory at Leicester Tigers last weekend. They are now only one position and six points behind the final European Rugby Champions Cup place. Gloucester have won two of their six home league games this season. They've been going well in cup games too. Gloucester are unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions.

Bristol are coming off a big win last weekend. They beat leaders Northampton Saints 52-21 and that made it three successive wins in the English Premiership. That's taken them up to sixth and only five points behind the final end-of-season play-off position. Bristol have scored 109 points in their last two league matches, though both were played at home. The other victory was a 22-14 win at Sale Sharks who are in terrible form at present. That was Bristol's third away league win of the season and their second in a row. The other win was at Newcastle Falcons who have lost all 13 of their matches in the English Premiership this season. They'd los three in a row on the road before those victories.
