Fourth seed Francisco Cerundolo takes on unseeded Gabriel Diallo in the last four of the Almaty Open. The winner will be up against either third seed Karen Khachanov or unseeded Aleksandar Vukic in the final. Read our match prediction.
Francisco Cerundolo was 31st in the last rankings but is up to 29th in the live list. He can rise another place if reaching the final of this hard court tournament. The Argentinian had a recent win over Casper Ruud in the Laver Cup but hasn't been that consistent on hard courts of late.
His best form has been shown on clay courts and before this week, he had failed to reach an ATP Tour hard court quarter-final. To reach the last four in Almaty, he has beaten wild card Justin Engel and unseeded Alexander Shevchenko in straight sets.

The 23-year-old has been playing well on the Challenger Tour though with a recent semi-final in Hangzhou. To reach the last four, he's had wins over Christopher O'Connell, Borna Coric and second seed Alejandro Tabilo. He had to come from behind to beat Tabilo.
