France vs South Africa Prediction & Betting Tips - Test Matchs

France welcomes South Africa to the Stade Vélodrome for this Autumn International. The home side are coming off a nail biting 30-29 win over Australia in their last match and needed a brilliant late try by Damian Penaud to win the match. France are the pre-tournament favorites for next year’s World Cup but will be looking for a more polished performance from their team against the world champion Springboks. The home team have won their last 11 matches and are looking to win 12 on the trot for the first time in their history. France have not beaten the Springboks since 2009 and they will be desperate to end their win drought. Captain Anton Dupont will be again be the key figure for the French and will be hoping to be back to his best as he had a rare off day against Australia.

The Springboks suffered a narrow 19-16 loss to Ireland in their last match with their lack of a specialist goal kicker costing them the victory. They have again gone into this match without a recognized kicker although they have Manie Libbok on the bench. The visitors will be keen to continue their excellent winning record against the French. This will be an extremely difficult task as the home side have swept all before them this year which includes them winning the Six Nations title. South Africa will look to attack the French scrum as they looked vulnerable in their last match. If the visitors can gain set piece dominance then they are in with a chance of causing an upset.
