France vs Italy Prediction & Betting Tips - Six Nations

The first week of the Six Nations saw France cause a big shock and Italy in predictably poor form. France put in a great first half performance against England and in the end ran out 24-17 winners. With their new coach in charge, France fielded a young side against England and if repeating their level of performance in the rest of this tournament, then at least a top three place is likely. Their half-back pairing of Romain Natmack and Antoine Dupont ensured that France were in control of the game and how they continue to perform will have a big influence on how the rest of this Six Nations progresses.

Each of the last four Six Nations championships have seen Italy lose all their games. Many question why they are still taking part and those feeling that way had their case boosted as Italy lost 42-0 in Wales last weekend. Their interim coach is likely to make changes for this game but will that be able to get them a shock win?  That doesn't look likely and Italy may just want to keep the score down. A bet on France to win on a -26 point handicap is the one to make.
