World No. 2 France and 11th-ranked Germany go head-to-head in the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup semi-finals at Uber Arena in Berlin. France are closing in on their first-ever FIBA Women's World Cup title in Berlin. The Blues have been virtually unstoppable since the qualifiers and have shown no signs of slowing down with just two games standing between them and what could be a historic World Cup triumph.
Currently holding the record for the biggest winning margin in the tournament, Jean-Aimé Toupane’s team continued their dominant performances with a 90–61 quarter-final victory over China on Thursday.

Germany shot 48% from the field, including 35% from deep, to ease past Belgium 93–74 in the quarter-finals, marking their first win against a higher-ranked team in the competition.
