The second match in Scotland's 2025 tour of the Pacific will see the team clash with Fiji on Saturday at HFC Bank Stadium. The Thistles will aim for a second straight tour victory taking on the Flying Fijians in Suva. Let's take you through our prediction for this match.
Coming off a poor Six Nations campaign in which they finished fourth in the rankings, Scotland opened their 2025 Pacific tour with a hard-fought 29-26 win against the Maori All Blacks in Whangarei. An impressive 12-point lead in the first half ensured the team ran out with a narrow victory after losing the second half by nine points.
Excluding the non-test prep against the Maori All Blacks, Scotland have lost three of their last four test matches (W1), but have won the last four against lower-ranked teams. They have also won their last four away test fixtures against lower-ranked sides.
Fiji have struggled lately after a stellar 2024 Pacific Nations Cup campaign. They have lost three of their five tests since then, including a narrow 21-18 defeat to Australia in their last match in Newcastle.
However, Mick Byrne's side won their last home Test in Suva, defeating Samoa 42-16 and will aim to return to winning ways hosting the Scotts on Saturday at the same venue.
