Basement boys Grasshopper Zurich will travel to Stadion Letzigrund to lock horns with third-placed FC Zurich in the 16th round of the Swiss Super League this Saturday. Below is our prediction for the match. 

FC Zurich suffered their third defeat of the season after losing 4-1 away to Lugano on Sunday. This marked the second consecutive match in which they've squandered a lead with the previous instance culminating in a 1-1 draw against Servette. 

FCZ's form at home has been lackluster. In their last seven matches, they've recorded just three wins (D3, L1), and they come into this clash riding a three-match winless run with two draws and one loss recorded. 

Grasshopper Zurich's lackluster season doesn't come as a shock as it is a carbon copy of their previous campaign in which they finished 11th. Anchored at the bottom of the table with a meager 10 points, they find themselves in the relegation rounds and are an imposing 13 points adrift of the championship round spot.

The Hoppers alongside 11th-placed Winterthur have been the whipping boys in the Super League, with both teams having recorded nine losses from their last 15 games. Since their 1-0 shock victory over Young Boys on September 28th, the team has gone seven matches without a win (L5, D2) with their last league outing resulting in a 1-1 draw against Winterthur.
