Facundo Diaz Acosta vs Stefanos Tsitsipas Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Barcelona

Stefanos Tsitsipas continues his bid to win two successive clay court tournaments. He's seeded fifth for the Barcelona Open and takes on unseeded Facundo Diaz Acosta in the quarter-finals. For the winner, there's a semi-final against either the 16th seed Arthur Fils or unseeded Dusan Lajovic. Tsitsipas was in supreme form last week when winning the Monte Carlo Masters. He's continued that great form in this ATP 500 tournament. Wins have come against unseeded pair Sebastian Ofner and Roberto Carballes Baena. Both those wins came in straight sets making it seven out of the last eight won without dropping a set. Tsitsipas is eighth in the live rankings but a win here will take him to seventh. 

This is the first time that Acosta has faced Tsitsipas. He was ranked 53rd in Monday's list and that was only a place below his career-high. That's been beaten now with this run to the quarter-finals in Barcelona. Acosta is now 46th place and a win over Tsitsipas could take him into the top 40. He's had a good year on clay with a title won in Buenos Aires. A quarter-final in Cordoba was also reached by him. His last two clay court tournaments have seen him lose in the main draw first round. It's gone better this week though with three wins. The first two came in straight sets but he needed three to beat 17th-seeded Fabian Marozsan. He lost the first set but then dropped just four games in the next two. We tip Stefanos Tsitsipas to make it into the last four without dropping a set.
