After a largely underwhelming campaign last term, Exeter Chiefs have underlined their intent for a stronger showing in the English top tier this season. They began their campaign with an impressive 23-14 victory over title-holders Bath in Premiership Cup opener.
This was followed by another elite-level performance against last season’s Champions Cup finalists Northampton Saints in their Premiership Rugby opener last week.
