Exeter RC Chiefs vs Glasgow Warriors Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions Cup

Exeter Chiefs host Glasgow Warriors in Pool C of the European Rugby Champions Cup. They begin the weekend in second place only behind Northampton Saints on points difference. Glasgow are in third and five points behind their opponents. The top four qualify for the knockout stages with the side finishing fifth going into the Challenge Cup. Exeter have won both of their pool matches so far. They started with a 19-18 away win at Toulon. Their away form is nowhere near as impressive as that on home soil. They trailed Toulon 18-5 at half time but scored 14 points without reply in the second half to get the win. Next up the Chiefs beat Munster and again trailed at the break before a strong second half performance. Exeter lost at home to Northampton Saints last week but that was their first home loss of the season. Their final pool match is away at Bayonne who are fourth in the table at present with three points.

Glasgow Warriors began this pool with a 28-19 home loss to Northampton Saints. They lost the first half of that match 22-5 and couldn't claw back that deificit after the break. The Warriors got a good win away at Aviron in their next game. Again they fell behind in the first half but just squeezed home by a point. After this match they host Toulon and still have a good chance of making it to the last 16. We back Exeter to win this match on a -9 point handicap.
