Elena Rybakina, the top seed in Stuttgart, is through to the semi-finals, where she will face off with third seed Mirra Andreeva. This is their fourth career meeting, and below is our prediction for the match.

Rybakina is edging ever closer to another title in Stuttgart. The world number two won this event in her most recent appearance, which was two years ago. She, however, hasn’t looked particularly impressive in her run to the semis.

Rybakina was almost eliminated from the competition in the quarter-finals by Leylah Fernandez, who gave her one of her toughest matches this term. She won in three sets after battling her way from 1-0 down.

This year’s Australian Open champion, Rybakina, has won 23 matches thus far.

Mirra Andreeva defeated Rybakina both times they met last season. With how dominant she has been on clay this term, she has a very strong chance of progressing to the final.

Andreeva is yet to lose on clay and has claimed seven straight victories. She arrived in Stuttgart for her second appearance after lifting the title in Linz.

The teenage sensation, who has compiled a sublime 21-6 record, has gone from strength to strength this week. In the first round, Andreeva defeated defending champion Jelena Ostapenko, and to reach the semis, the Russian outlasted two-time champion Iga Swiatek.

A winner of two events so far in 2026, Andreeva has moved up to eighth in the live ranking after her last win.
