It's a must win game for the Portland Trail Blazers. This is the sixth match in a best-of-seven series against the Denver Nuggets who have a 3-2 win. To progress to the Western Conference semi-final against either the Phoenix Suns or LA Lakers, the last two matches of the series have to be won. It's as simple as that and they have home advantage before hopefully playing a deciding match in Denver. They won't be scared of having to go to Denver as they won the first match of this series there. However, Denver won the next one winning each of the four quarters to win by 19 points with 38 points from Nikola Jokic. Another 36 points were scored by him in the third match of the series, won by Denver by five points.

Portland made the most of their home advantage in the fourth match beating Denver by 20 points, mainly thanks to a third quarter won 36-19. Denver regained the initiative with a 147-140 win in the home fifth leg. They had to go to overtime to get that win though despite winning the first quarter by 13 points.Heaven knows what Portland's Damian Lillard must have thought after a game in which he scored 55 points and still lost.  Now we're back in Portland and Denver know a win takes them into the semi-finals. Can Lillard repeat his heroics again but get a win this time? Denver obviously have problems with him, go for Portland to get the win and take us into a deciding match.
