Denmark enter this match looking to be the first nation to win the Men's World Handball Championships three times in a row. They take on France who are the reigning Olympic champions and bidding to win a seventh world title. Denmark have gone 27 games without defeat in the world championships, last losing to Hungary in January 2017. This tournament has gone well for them with all their matches being won aside from a 32-32 draw against Croatia in the main round. They finished top of both their preliminary and main rounds and have been in world championship winning form in the knockout stages. The quarter final saw them defeat Hungary 40-23 and then in the last four, got the better of Spain by a three-goal margin. France are in their first world championship final since 2017 ending a run of two successive semi-final losses. The French team always seem to be in the running to win this world title with the last 11 championships seeing them with five titles and five semi-final defeats. The quarter finals saw them beat Germany, though the scores were level at the break. In their semi-final, France built up a four-goal lead in the first half against Sweden and eventually won 31-26. Now comes the ultimate test but it's Denmark who we believe will win their third consecutive world title.
