Inter Miami will be looking to keep pace with the leading pack in the MLS when they travel to play DC United next. Heading into the weekend, Inter are fifth in the standings while United are rock bottom. Here's our  analysis and a prediction for this match.

DC United have found it hard to win matches this season. They have managed just four wins from 27 outings and, together with Montreal, have lost a massive 15 games.

This lacklustre form has seen the capital club make three coaching changes. Rene Weiler was appointed in July and is seeking his first win. He has lost seven of nine games and, in the process, extended DC’s winless run to 11 fixtures.

The Eagles snapped a six-match losing streak by drawing 1-1 with fellow strugglers Montreal last time out.

Inter Miami have won the last two meetings with DC United. Yet to face off this season, Inter hammered DC 3-1 the last time they were in the capital.

Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick then, and as he has been in rich scoring form, might do damage once again. The forward scored twice in midweek to help Inter advance to the Leagues Cup semis thanks to a 2-1 victory over Tigres at home.

Inter have won five of their last six matches, though have stuttered in the league. The Herons, who have accumulated 45 points, have three games in hand and are seven points off the pace.
