The Dallas Mavericks and the San Antonio Spurs will face off in their first match of the 2024-25 NBA season at American Airlines Center on Friday. The Mavs were beaten NBA finalists last season, while the Spurs finished 14th in the Western Conference. Let’s get into the match prediction.
The Dallas Mavericks posted an impressive 50-32 record last season, earning themselves fifth place in the Western Conference and a spot in the playoffs.
After trading Daniel Gafford and P.J. Washington at the deadline, the Mavs defeats the Clippers and Thunder en route to upsetting the Timberwolves in the Conference finals.
While Dallas ultimately fell short in the final against the rampant Celts, it was still a very successful season for the franchise and the addition of Klay Thompson during the offseason is a tantalising prospect for them this term alongside Luka Doncic.
