The Cleveland Cavaliers will seek to get back to winning ways when they host the Phoenix Suns next in the NBA. Phoenix are currently sixth in the Western Conference while Cleveland are third in the East. The Cavaliers have battled with a lack of consistency recently and have lost seven times in their last 13 matches. They were defeated at home last time out in the first night of this back-to-back by the Nets. J.B. Bickerstaff’s men were undone 120-101 for their 23rd loss of the season. But having defeated the Suns both home and away last season, they'll be confident of a win here. Donovan Mitchell remains sidelined with a knee problem. He is joined in the treatment room by Evan Mobley, Max Strus, and Ty Jerome. Dean Wade, who had a memorable night against Boston four matches ago, will also miss this game due to personal reasons. The Cavs are averaging 105 points over their last three matches.

The Suns are also struggling to maintain a consistent run and have lost five times in their last nine matches. Their most recent defeat came last time out as they fell 117-107 at home to Boston to see a three-game winning run snapped. Frank Vogel’s men have found it hard to pull clear of the play-in places in the West. They are just half a game clear of their closest challengers for sixth place. Phoenix had won five straight against the Cavs before losing both matchups last season. Kevin Durant has scored at least 35 points in each of his last three matches. He poured in 45 points against the Nets and should again be expected to have a big night. Devin Booker is questionable for this trip and has missed the last four matches with an ankle issue. Eric Gordon, Nassir Little, Damion Lee, and Josh Okogie have been ruled out altogether. The Suns have averaged 114.7 points over their last three fixtures.
