Bristol Bears will begin their 2025-26 Premiership Rugby campaign playing host to Leicester Tigers on Sunday. The Bears will look to kick off their campaign on a winning note against the Tigers. Here is our prediction for the match.
Bristol Bears secured the final playoff spot in Premiership Rugby last season, finishing fourth with 58 points. However, their journey ended in the semi-finals where they lost 34-20 to eventual champions Bath Rugby.
The Bristol-based outfit will target a stronger campaign this season. They bounced back with a 40-24 away win over Gloucester Rugby last time out in the Premiership Cup after their opening-day loss in the competition. Pat Lam’s side have also won six of their last seven home matches in all competitions, dating back to last season.
Last season's finalist, Leicester Tigers, are already off to a strong start under new manager Geoff Parling. The Tigers have won their opening two fixtures in the Premiership Cup, including a 25-17 victory over Harlequins in their last outing.
They have also won two and drawn one of their last four away fixtures against Bristol Bears. Nevertheless, their recent record on the road is far from convincing, having lost three of their last five away matches.
