The Brooklyn Nets will travel to TD Garden to take on the Boston Celtics in the NBA on Friday night. The Celts (8-7) are 10th in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Nets (2-12) are 13th. Let’s get into the match prediction.

The Boston Celtics are starting to find their rhythm, now 4-1 in their last five games and looking to secure a fourth straight win after beating this opponent 113-99 on Tuesday. 

Without Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown has been the C’s main offensive weapon, averaging 27.5 PPG. Neemias Queta has been the key man in defence, averaging 8.1 rebounds per game. 

After Tuesday night’s 14-point victory, Boston have now won their last nine in a row against this opponent. Tatum is the only confirmed absentee for the hosts in this one. 

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been awful this season. They have only won two games to date, but those were against the Wizards and a depleted Pacers, which isn’t anything to get excited about. 

Aside from Michael Porter Jr.’s performances, there isn’t much positive about the Nets right now, as they have the worst defensive rating in the league and are 28th for points scored per game. 

Adding to Brooklyn’s woes, Cam Thomas is now ruled out until mid-December, joining Haywood Highsmith and Ben Saraf on the sidelines.
