This Top 14 matchday eight fixture will see eighth-placed Bordeaux Begles host second-placed Bayonne on Saturday at Stade Chaban-Delmas. Les Girondins will aim for their first back-to-back wins this season as they lock horns with the Rowing Club. Here is our prediction.

Bordeaux Begles defeated USA Perpignan 27-12 last week to mark their fourth win of the season. However, Les Girondins have swung back and forth between setbacks and triumphs, posting a dramatic win-loss cycle in their seven league games so far.

Nonetheless, they remain difficult opponents at the Stade Chaban-Delmas, posting an impressive 11-0-1 home record since last season. This includes consecutive victories in their last three home fixtures.

Bayonne bounced back from a 23-point defeat against Section Paloise by thrashing Clermont 44-17 at home last week. The Sky Blue and Whites led by 22 points at the break and won the second half 19-14 to seal the win.
