Bath Rugby vs Racing 92 Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions Cup

Bath are second in Pool B of the 2023/24 European Rugby Champions Cup and a win over fifth placed Racing 92 will take them into the last 16. The English Premiership side (currently third in the table) are only behind leaders Toulouse on points difference and eight points ahead of their opponents. They have won both of their pool matches so far. Their campaign began with a 37-14 win over Ulster (currently third in the pool) but it wasn't as straightforward win as it looks. Bath were trailing by six points at the break but then scored 29 points in the second half without reply. That was followed by a 39-32 away win at Cardiff. They again had to come from behind to get the win in that match. Bath have won five of their last six games, the only recent loss being away at Leicester Tigers and won their last five home fixtures. Their final pool fixture is away at Toulouse so they will want to be qualified by then.

Racing 92 are the Top 14 leaders but desperately need a win if they want to get into the last 16 of the European Rugby Champions Cup. Their first couple of pool matches have seen them lose both games and earn only two bonus points. The top four qualify for the next round and they are three points behind Harlequins in fourth with two games to play. The French side lost at home to Harlequins in their opening pool match. They were beaten 31-28 trailing by three points at the break and being unable to peg the visitors back. Next up they lost 31-15 away in Ulster after trailing by 16 points at half-time.  A better first half performance is needed if they want to boost their qualification hopes. After this match they host bottom of the pool Cardiff and that'll be a must-win match as we fully expect them to lose this game.
