Fourth placed Bath can go above Exeter Chiefs if beating them at home on Saturday. They begin the weekend a point and a place behind their opponents and five behind leaders Sale Sharks. Their current fourth place is the final qualifying position for the end-of-season play-offs. They lead fifth placed Harlequins by a point after seven games of the season. If Harlequins were to beat Sale on Friday, Bath would drop out of the play-off positions. The home side has won four of their seven league fixtures. Their most recent game saw them narrowly lose 11-9 at Sale Sharks  They led 9-5 at half-time but couldn't add to their total in the second period. That defeat ended a run of two wins at Gloucester and home to Bristol, both sides being towards the bottom of the table. Home form has seen Bath win two of their three games.

Exeter Chiefs have won five out of seven league games this season. That has taken them to third in the table and only four points off the top of the table as we go into the weekend. It's their home form that has put the Chiefs so high in the table. They have won all four of their home fixtures with a points difference of 108. On the road it's a different story though with two of their three matches being lost. They lost to Harlequins and Northampton Saints before getting a first away win of the season at Newcastle Falcons who prop up the table. We tip Bath to get a home win.
