Aviron Bayonne vs Glasgow Warriors Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions Cup

Bayonne host Glasgow Warriors in Pool C of the European Rugby Champions Cup. Both sides come into this second pool game still waiting for their first win. Bayonne are in third place with the visitors bottom of the pool. The home side began their European Rugby Champions Cup campaign with an away draw at Munster. They went into the break trailing 17-3 to the Irish side but fought back well and returned to France with a 17-17 draw. Now they host Glasgow Warriors looking to get their first pool win. They are currently tenth in the Top 14 with four wins and five defeats. Home form has produced four wins out of four, while they have lost all five away Top 14 fixtures.

That makes this a tough game for Glasgow who prop up the table after the first set of games. They took an early lead against Northampton Saints but ended up losing to the English Premiership side 28-19 conceding three tries. The Warriors are second in the United Rugby Championship, three points behind Leinster. Five of their seven games have been won but they did lose their most recent United Rugby Championship fixture. That was 40-29 away at Munster, so nowhere near as good a result away to them as Bayonne achieved last weekend. Glasgow have only won one of their three away league games this season. The loss at home to Northampton Saints was their second successive loss and  a third defeat in a row looks likely this weekend away at Bayonne to make qualification even more difficult.
