Top seed Aryna Sabalenka and third seed Elena Rybakina meet yet again to decide the BNP Paribas Open. This is their second meeting in the final at Indian Wells and also their second matchup of the year. Read on for our prediction for the match.

Sabalenka is in her third final at this event, and she will be hoping that it is third time a charm as she seeks her first WTA 1000 title in California. The world number one is also contesting her third final of the year.

She has been in terrific form with only one loss in 17 outings. Her only defeat was inflicted by Rybakina in the Australian Open final, and she will be out for revenge.

The Belarusian, who has won all her 16 matches this season in straights, defeated Linda Noskova in the semis.

Rybakina has won four of the five finals in which she has faced off with Sabalenka. One of those was achieved at Indian Wells three seasons ago.

With this record, she will be confident of adding to a ballooning trophy cabinet. Rybakina has won five consecutive finals and, in total, has earned 12 tour titles, including two Grand Slams and two WTA 1000 titles.

To advance to the final, the 26-year-old outlasted world number eight Elina Svitolina, winning in straight sets. It was her 15th victory against a fellow WTA top 10 player since the start of last season, and she has now moved up to second in the live ranking.
