Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is enjoying greater depth in the team this term than at any other period. In his current team, being on the bench means a player is just as lethal as any other on the pitch.
Their subs have been working superbly, and their latest match is a case in point. Mikel Merino rose from the bench to head in the equalizer against Newcastle. Another sub, Martin Odegaard, assisted the winner.
