Arsenal play host to Newcastle United in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final. The winners will be up against either Tottenham or the holders Liverpool in the final. Who will get to Wembley? Read our match prediction.

The Gunners haven't won this competition since 1993 and only twice in their history. The weekend saw them draw at Brighton extending their unbeaten run to 13 games with no defeat since mid-November. Home form has seen them avoid defeat in 17 straight competitive games.

Newcastle last won at the Emirates in 2010 and since then, only avoided defeat once in 12 matches. They are fifth in the Premier League, five points behind second-placed Arsenal. Over 90 minutes they have only lost once in their last 14 Carabao Cup games.

That defeat came in the final two seasons ago to Manchester United. They come into this match having won their last six matches, most recently 2-1 at Tottenham. Alexander Isak is in top form and the Magpies scored at least twice in each of their last four on the road.

While the only Premier League opponent faced by Arsenal in this competition has been Crystal Palace, it's been tougher for United. They've had to get past Forest, Chelsea and Brentford. We go for both teams to score in this match.
