Only one set has been lost by her this week, that was in round two when coming from behind to beat Tatjana Maria. Saturday's semi-final saw her defeat fourth seed Wang Xiyu in straight sets.
Ann Li has only ever won one WTA singles title and that was four years ago in Tenerife. This is her first final since the Merida Open last November. This run to the Singapore final has taken her up to 60th in the live rankings, a rise of 25 places.
