Andy Murray vs Matteo Berrettini Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Miami

Both of these players have previously been ranked in the top ten. That was the past though and between them Andy Murray and Matteo Berettini's combined present ranking tops 200. They meet in the first round of the Miami Masters with a match against 29th seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry for the winner. Murray is entering the final stages of his successful career and is hoping to make the Paris Olympics this year. He's currently ranked 62nd but will need to be in the top 56 to play in Paris. A good final grass court season might just help him achieve that. He's only won three matches on the ATP Tour this year and most recently lost in the second round at Indian Wells to Andrey Rublev. The last 16 was reached in both Doha and Dubai but he's yet to win two matches in a tournament this year. Murray has won the title in Miami on two previous occasions, the most recent though was 11 years ago.

Matteo Berrettini has again had injury problems this year. He's only 142nd in the rankings at present and only played one tournament this year. That was in last week's Phoenix Challenger Tour event and he made it to the final where he was beaten by Nuno Borges. Berrettini leads Murray 3-2 in previous meetings with three of the last four being won by the Italian. This could be close match but we tip Berrettini to get the victory.
