After beating the sixth seed in round two, unseeded Emilio Nava now has another difficult task. Nava takes on the top seed Andrey Rublev in the last eight of this outdoor hard court tournament. Will we see another shock? Time for our match prediction.
After reaching round four at Wimbledon, Rublev climbed to tenth in the world rankings. The 27-year-old has a 10-7 record on hard courts this year and won the Doha tournament.That was his 11th ATP Tour hard court title.
He'd lost his last three matches on this surface before defeating wild card Alex Hernandez 6-3 6-2 this week.
Emilio Nava caused an upset in round two with a win over sixth-seeded Bu Yunchhaokete after losing the first set. That followed a straight sets first round win over Aleksandar Vukic.
The American is up to a career-high 115th in the live rankings. Earlier this year he won three successive Challenger Tour titles but all were played on clay. On hard courts this season, the former US Open Junior Grand Slam runner-up had lost two qualifying round matches played in Australia before this tournament.
