Top seed Andrey Rublev begins his campaign in the Stockholm Open. This is a second round match against unseeded Alexandre Muller with the winner going into the quarter-finals. Read our match prediction.
Rublev is ranked seventh and can't move any higher this week even if winning this indoor hard court tournament. In the ATP Live Race, the Russian is in eighth place and that would take him into the end-of-season Tour Finals.
He would be in a better position but for a poor run of form between February and April. His year began with a hard court title win in Hong Kong. He also made it to the final of the Rogers Cup in Montreal. His other title this year was won on clay in Madrid.
He will be looking for a good week in Stockholm after losing in his first match against Jakub Mensik in Shanghai after winning the first set.
There's only been one previous meeting between the pair and that was won by Muller. The Frenchman won that in this year's Rome Masters which was played on clay. Muller is the world number 70 but is up to a career-high 68th in the live list.
The 27-year-old made it to the last 32 of the Shanghai Masters in his last tournament. That was the first time he'd won two main draw matches in an ATP Tour event since the clay court Rome Masters.
Round one in Stockholm saw him beat wild card Leo Borg in straight sets, though he needed a tie-break in the second. We tip Rublev to win this in straight sets.
