Alexander Zverev vs Brandon Nakashima Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Stuttgart Open

For the first time in their careers, Alexander Zverev and Brandon Nakashima are set to meet outside the majors. The two will face off in the third quarter-final at the Stuttgart Open. We have the prediction for this fourth match between these players.

The winner in this match will square off with Ben Shelton or Jiri Lehecka in the semis. Top seed Zverev comes here as the favorite, having beaten Nakashima in each of their previous matchups.

After his first-round bye, Zverev, the world No. 3, blanked Corentin Moutet in straight sets in the second round. That was his seventh win in the last 10 matches. In four of his completed nine matches, Zverev dropped at least a set. 

Twice in their three meetings, Nakashima pushed Zverev to a deciding set. All three matches were in Grand Slam events; twice at the US Open and the other at the French Open.

If with that pressure Nakashima could push to four sets, then he will be confident of doing well here. His straight-sets win over Learner Tien in the last round means in each of his last six completed matches he has won at least a set.

Five defeats in his last 10 matches, however, could come with a dent in the player’s confidence.
