Alexander Bublik vs Taylor Fritz Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Stuttgart Open

Not since Thomas Muster in 1996 has a player retained this title. Thirty years on, second seed and defending champion Taylor Fritz takes on third seeded Alexander Bublik in the last four. Fritz won two grass court titles last year and our prediction is it will be Fritz who can win this match.

Alexander Bublik leads Fritz 4-3 in previous meetings. However, it is Fritz who has won three of their last four matches with only one set lost. Fritz also won the only grass court match they have played, losing only five games.

Bublik is 11th in the live rankings, two places below his opponent. This is his best run in Stuttgart, previously being a quarter-finalist here two years ago. He has had a tough week so far with a three-set win over Jan-Lennard Struff and a 7-6 7-6 win over Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

Taylor Fritz has won 15 of his last 17 grass court matches. Last year saw him win this title and then be champion in Eastbourne for the fourth time. Fritz has reached at least the quarter-finals at Wimbledon three times in the past four years.

He has had to go to a deciding set in both of his matches this week, with wins over Martin Landaluce and Mattia Bellucci.
