Third seed Alex Michelsen will be up against qualifier Brandon Holt in an all-American second round match at ATP Mallorca. The first meeting between the two will produce the opponent for Bernard Tomic or Roberto Bautista Agut in the quarters.We have a prediction for this match below.

Michelsen has been subjected to a few embarrassing defeats lately, and he will be keen not to suffer here too.

His latest one wasn’t, though, as he fell in straight sets to Daniil Medvedev at the ATP Halle quarter-finals. On grass this season, Michelsen is going into his sixth match. In the first five, he dropped at least one set in four.

Brandon Holt will also be looking to book a third-round spot in the ATP tour at Michelsen’s expense. The world No. 101 is making his debut here and has come all the way from the qualifying rounds to hit the main draw.
