Aleksandar Kovacevic vs Fabian Marozsan Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Miami

Qualifier Aleksandar Kovacevic is up against unseeded Fabian Marozsan in round one of the Miami Open. There's a tough match in round two with the winner having to face the sixth seeded Holger Rune. Kovacevic is ranked 98th but was a career high 85th in January. He had to win two qualifying matches to get into the main draw. The American was seeded ninth in qualifying and made it through with two straight sets wins over Patrick Kypson and 24th seed Zizou Bergs. Those wins have taken him up a place to 97th in the live rankings. He reached the second round of this outdoor hard court Masters event last year beating Jaume Munar. That was a fortunate win as he'd been reinstated as a lucky loser. Kovacevic had lost his last two matches before the qualifiers began. He got to the last 16 in Acapulco but lost to Holger Rune. Before that he was a quarter finalist in Los Cabos and got to round two of the Australian Open.

Fabian Marozsan is the world number 57 but up to 52nd in the live rankings. He had a good tournament in Indian Wells and reached the last 16. He beat seeded Nicolas Jarry but was beaten by eventual winner Carlos Alcaraz. He also made it to the last 32 of the Australian Open beating Francisco Cerundolo. Marozsan won the first set against Taylor Fritz but then lost the next three. He's playing in this tournament for the first time and we believe he can get a win on his debut.
