It's been a good year for Alejandro Tabilo and now he bids for Olympic glory at Roland Garros. The Chilean is seeded 15th and takes on unseeded Roman Safiullin who is a neutral athlete in these Games. Time to preview the match and make our prediction.

2024 began with Tabilo ranked outside the top 120. He's currently 20th in the live rankings and 15th in the ATP Race. He'll be hoping to beat Safiullin and set up a second round match (the last 32) against either Tomas Martin Etcheverry or Thiago Seyboth Wild, both unseeded players.

Tabilo has had a busy time on clay this year as he also played on the South American tour. That's where he made his big breakthrough with a run to the final in Santiago. He also made it to the last four in Bucharest and Rome.
