Inter Miami will play host to Los Angeles FC as the Major League Soccer (MLS) enters Match Day 3. Heading into the game, hosts Inter Miami are in 11th place in the Eastern Conference with one point and hoping for a first win against third placed Los Angeles FC who have four points. This will be the second meeting in the history of these two sides, with LA FC having won the first. Inter Miami finished 11th last season and will be eyeing a better season. They warmed up for the league with participation in the Carolina Challenge Cup but their start hasn’t been great. Carlos Vela has been outstanding this early, and it is his treble that secured the first win. He was also the scorer as LA FC beat Inter Miami 1-0 in their only other meeting and will be counting on his good start this season to push the team here. Los Angeles FC have a good scoring run and that is one area they will be banking on in this game. In the last 10 MLS matches, they’ve scored in all; five times in the last eight, scoring two or more goals.
