It is not often that an international team plays two matches on one day but that is exactly what is happening with Indonesia. They play Singapore in the semifinals of the Suzuki Cup and also play Myanmar in an international friendly. They will be sending a largely second string team to play the friendly international but will still feel confident of winning as they beat the same opponents 4-1 a month ago. Indonesia are unbeaten in their last six matches with four wins and two draws. Their last match was a 1-1 draw with Singapore. Indonesia have performed very well in the Suzuki Cup, winning their group with 10 points.

Myanmar will be coming into this match hoping to take advantage of the fact that Indonesia will be fielding an under strength team. They have been on a very poor run having only won once in their last eight matches. They also had a very disappointing Suzuki Cup where they finished in second last position in their group with their only victory coming against East Timor. Myanmar have a very poor defensive record and have been on the receiving end of some heavy defeats including a 4-1 to Indonesia the last time these times met.
