Chelsea vs Manchester United: Mbeumo anytime goalscorer
Odds: 3.25 with bet365
The weekend's action in the English top flight kicks off with Manchester United heading to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea. We’re targeting Bryan Mbeumo as the player to watch in this fixture with both teams in desperate need of the three points.
The 27-year-old Mbeumo has been scoring more consistently for the Red Devils in his second year at the club, and is the team’s top goalscorer with four goals from eight Premier League starts so far.
Bryan Mbeumo: Premier League
| Season | Shots/90 | Shots in box/90 | xG/90 | xG per shot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-27 | 3.25 | 2.62 | 0.53 | 0.163 |
| 2025-26 | 2.52 | 1.99 | 0.42 | 0.167 |
However, it’s not necessarily because the quality of his finishing is better. In fact, it remained largely the same, with a 15.4% shot conversion rate this season compared to 15.1% last season. It’s down to an increase in shot volume, with his shots per 90 and shots in the box per 90 both increasing when compared to last season. This has, in turn, seen his xG per 90 increase. See our Chelsea vs Manchester United prediction!
Mbeumo has been deployed as the central striker in recent outings, starting four of the last five matches in that position after opening the season at right wing. United gave him eight starts up front in the back half of last season as well, signalling that this isn’t simply an experiment.
Mbeumo accounts for 33.1% of United’s total xG this season, and the Cameroonian international has played every minute of PL action so far this season. Their opponents Chelsea rank 11th in expected goals against (11.4) and have conceded 15 goals so far, so Mbeumo should get some chances here despite being away from home.
Man City vs Brighton: Anderson over 1.5 fouls won
Odds: 1.62 with bet365

Elliot Anderson has settled in nicely at Manchester City after his big-money move from Nottingham Forest in the summer. And one of Anderson’s most consistent traits over the last two seasons is his ability to resist the press and draw fouls.
Elliot Anderson fouls won
| Season | Club | Minutes | Fouls won | Per 90 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025-26 | Nottingham Forest | 3,334 | 80 | 2.16 |
| 2026-27 | Manchester City | 608 | 26 | 3.85 |
The 23-year-old drew a league-high 80 fouls across 3,334 Premier League minutes last season, and he’s already on pace to surpass that number this season. It tracks logically, as City monopolise the ball, thus increasing his exposure to fouls. This is especially true for a midfield orchestrator like Anderson, who is among the league leaders in touches.
Where this specific prop connects is in large part down to the opposition that he will face. See our Manchester City vs Brighton prediction! The Seagulls are the ideal opposition for this type of play and we have direct evidence as to what their game plan could be on Saturday. These two sides faced off only a few days ago in the EFL Cup, which also took place at the Etihad.
Brighton 2026-27: fouls committed
- Season average: 12.4 per game (7th in the league)
- At the Etihad in the EFL Cup: 20
- Man City in that same match: 3
Brighton were their usual aggressive selves; no side in the Premier League allows an opponent fewer passes before stepping in to challenge. This man-to-man pressing approach results in a lot of 1v1 situations defensively, which in turn leads to fouls. This was on full display on Wednesday, as Fabian Hurzeler's side racked up 20 fouls against City’s three. Craig Pawson referees, averaging 22.4 fouls a game against a league average of 21.9 over the last two seasons.
Bayern Munich vs Dortmund: Ryerson over 0.5 assists
Odds: 5.50 with bet365

Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson established himself as one of Europe’s most dangerous attacking fullbacks last season. The Norwegian international racked up 15 assists from 10.1 xA (expected assists) in the 2025-26 Bundesliga, the most by a defender in a single season in the league’s history.
This season, however, he has none.
Julian Ryerson: Bundesliga
| Season | Minutes | xA/90 | xA | Assists |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-27 | 502 | 0.52 | 2.90 | 0 |
| 2025-26 | 2,272 | 0.40 | 10.10 | 15 |
The important caveat to keep in mind here is that his creation metrics have not dropped. His attempted crosses sit at 9.84 per 90 against 9.81 last season, his chances created at 2.15 against 2.22, and his big chances created have edged up from 0.87 to 0.90. He accounts for 38.6% of Dortmund's big chances while he is on the pitch, and crucially, his 2.90 xA has yet to produce a single one. See our Bayern vs Dortmund prediction!
The obvious drawback is the opposition as Bayern concede fewer expected goals than any side in the Bundesliga. However, Dortmund did manage to create 1.65 xG and three big chances against them when they faced off in the Super Cup to open the campaign, a figure which is actually above their own league average. Expect Ryerson to get his deliveries in, and this price is good enough to take a punt that one of them sticks.
