Liverpool: The big money spenders
Liverpool was crowned champions in the 2024-25 Premier League season thanks to the guidance of their newly promoted head coach, Arne Slot. In the upcoming campaign, Slot's charges are out to defend their title and have already started to make some progress.
The Reds have been proactive in the transfer market and are in the process of rebuilding and bolstering their squad. Money is no problem to the FSG bosses this time around. A total of £150m (including add-ons) has been sunk in the summer transfer window, and that number is expected to rise with more signings on the horizon.

Arsenal: Not much transfer activity from the Gunners
Arsenal have not been making it rain in the transfer market as their fans would have expected them to. However, the Gunners have made some progress by snatching the signatures of two-high profile players to fill the gaps left by Jorginho and Kieran Tierney, who left as free agents.
Other notable names have departed the club, with Raheem Sterling and Neto's loan spells coming to an end while Nuno Tavares and Marquinhos have made a move to Lazio and Cruzeiro, respectively.

The names below are not expected moves, but some of Arsenal's potential targets:

Chelsea: The Blues are serious about challenging for silverware
After an impressive showing in the previous 2024-25 Premier League season and their success in the UEFA Conference League, it is safe to say that appointing head coach Enzo Maresca was a wise decision by Chelsea and co.
In an effort to reshape and bolster the squad, Enzo Maresca has been busy in the transfer market, bringing in five players with more still to come. This could see them challenge for more silverware in the 2025-26 season if all goes according to plan.
As for the players who left the club, only three have been confirmed, and this includes Jadon Sancho (left as a free agent after the club failed to renew his loan), Bashir Humphreys (joined Burnley for £14m), and Marcus Bettinelli (joined Manchester City with the fee undisclosed).
Transfer in:

Mamadou Sarr

Chelsea have no expected moves at the moment, but they do have a potential target in mind that they want to sign. Dortmund's Jamie Gittens is on the Blues' radar, and the club is very interested in landing the winger's signature.
Manchester City: Slow but steady progress
Manchester City had a very disappointing 2024-25 Premier League season as they finished the campaign without a trophy to their name. However, a third-place finish was enough to see them qualify for the upcoming 2026 UEFA Champions League.
Head coach Pep Guardiola has been proactive in the transfer market, signing four new players to rebuild and strengthen the squad to challenge for silverware in the 2025-26 season. Kevin de Bruyne has left for Napoli, and Kyle Walker's exit remains imminent.
